The World and It's Roses

A hidden person clothed in black, struggles with her heavy hat. Though no one sees this black each day, this person wants to run away. And in the quiet of the night her hidden tears with plenty take flight. She wishes badly that they knew, but nothing else will she say or do. Her soul convulses with the pain, that her heavy decisions have surly made. Can't see the light that draws so dim, so a smile she'll fake again and again. Just take me now she screams aloud. she beckons the high one from his Godly shroud, but without a push she will not move. The pain to great because of foolish moves. She asked for this, she knows quite well. Take off the mask and see who stays when most will go.
